Hi all, for a long time i have wanted to keep stingrays and have managed to do so, i have 2 motoros now of arond 7 inch disc, long time of breeding them i know.
Now i have just got my upgrade from the 6 x 2 x 2 to a 8`6" x 3`6" x 2`6", i still need to get it in place and get it running but in the mean time i am pondering on which rays to breed in this tank, i will have a pup tank of 4x3x1.5 as the main tank will also house other fish like arowana and cichlids.

What rays would you suggest for a first time breeder in the tank as above? I dont have big funds so leo`s etc out of price.

Is there such thing as an easyer breeder for a beginer in breeding rays?

Also is it ok for them to breed while they have tank mates like aro`s and P bass plus other cichlid?

Just stick with your 2 motoros. Im assuming they're a pair, and if that is the case, they'll most likely just end up breeding without you having to do anything. As long as you stay away from rays like tigers and flowers for now, you shouldn't have much problems with the majority of other species.

I was wanting to but from what i know i am best not doing.
They are borther and sister and the male is a little bigger, i believe the female should be bigger?

I was going to get 2 more female motoros to go in with them, and of a sligthly bigger size.

I was thinking of getting some Retics which are adult for breeding now,the motoros have a while to go untill they are breeding age i think?
Then when the motoros are breedign age/size they could cross.
