Ok I've come to the conclusion that I might not be able to do both so I need some help figuring out my next move:) please tell me which one i should go with and reasons why please. I was gonna do a poll but I can't figure out how to set it up with the iPhone app lol thank you to everyone who participated:)

Id only go managuense if it was gold morph. Otherwise haitensis

My vote is for haitiensis. It seems to be more of a challenge to raise(problems with bloat) & breed. Its also not as common, so you might stand a better chance of selling the fry.

While I think haitiensis look great, I personally think jags are more attractive fish. If you're looking for an awesome pair for a show tank, I say jags. Challenge & ability to unload fry - haitiensis.

Well if I do jags its only gonna be a male, no pair or breeding. If I do haits ill have a pair and breed. I really like them both so it's still a tough decision. And yes haits can be a challenge so I need to ask myself if I'm up to it as of late I've been wanting to slow down and enjoy what I have instead of all these projects... But, if I get haits ill only have to mess around for a few more months till I'm able to kick back;)

There's no comparison IMHO. Haitiensis are much more attractive and more aggressive. I think a pair of Haitiensis would have just as much personality as a male Jag wet pet.

Also as stated everyone has Jags.
Plus I remember you posting in the attractive fins thread how much you loved Haitiensis tail and fin structure!

Haitiensis are stunning if you ask me. I got some Juvies once and had six in a 125. I however, did not have much luck. One outgrew the others and demolished them and then he died himself despite my best efforts to feed him a lower protein diet and doing smaller water changes every third day :( I will someday try it again but my taste for monsters has waned and I am now on to keeping communities of medium/small cichlids. When I get room to set up all my tanks again though I will be with you on the Hatiensis keeping :) I do not proclaim to be the worlds best fish keeper though (I try but am far from it), if you can do it then do it because they are beautiful fish!
