It will be for my 46gallon bowfront. Right not I have a coralife 50/50, I think it's 30". What single light would promoto more growth on the live rocks?

What is the depth on the tank?

Depending on what you want to grow, that will depend on what light to use. If you just trying to get coraline algae to grow, just make sure you have the proper level of calcium and low phosphates. If you want to get any photosynthetic SPS or LPS corals to grow you should switch to PCs or even MH bulbs.

yup.

Use a t5 this is high quality lighting and can keep many different corals under it. If ur looking for a fish only tank go with a power compact it will keep the rock healthy and show the color in the fish well.
