A while back I picked up four red-spotted blue severums in the hopes of maybe getting a pair and if not, at least getting some nice fish out of the bunch. The are currently in a 55 along with one Satanoperca daemon. I would've bought several daemon and given them their own tank but it was spur of the moment, and at an inch long AND mislabeled (surinamemsis of course ;) ) I only go tone.

The severums have reached the point of being able to tell their sex and I'm reasonably certain that they are all male based on the facial patterns. Here's the thing; I'm planning to get rid of three of them and let the one remaining and the daemon be the primary fish in the tank, though I'll likely add some tetras or something later.

Normally I automatically keep the biggest and strongest fish of any group, but this time the smallest one is the most colorful of the bunch. The largest is slightly over 6 inches total length, and the smallest about 3 and a half inches.

So, which would you keep if you had no plans of breeding or showing them, the largest, strongest fish, or the smallest and most colorful one? By the way, I haven't seen any of them show any aggression toward the daemon, but he chases all except the largest one.
