Which Tank Setup Would You Go For? (Help Me Decide)

I have a 48 inches long x 18 inches wide and high tank which I want to turn into an eye catchy setup. Imagine beautiful sand substrate, rocks, plants, driftwoood and colourful fishes. (If you know any other colourful fish for suggestion let me know)

Which one would you go for?

Discus fish

Or, African Cichlid (of the smaller kind)

For me personally discuss just because of vibrant colors.

But having said that moba fronts. are interesting too

Long ago I use to have discuss, so I favor that as well. Also, between the two set-up above, I like the discuss one better too.

Discus, but if you know what it takes to properly grow them out and keep them healthy.

I personally would say a few small species of all male African cichlids because of tank size, and honestly don't have any experience with Discus.

If you want a planted tank I would say discus.

Thank you for all the replies, guys. Discus it is any interesting bottom feeders or tank mates? I saw some having Discus with Neon Tetras.

I will not overstock with Discus as a result of tank size, four or not more than six Discus only.

Lol I do have another same sized tank but I am thinking of something other than a fish, maybe a small sized turtle or a pacman frog. If you have any wet pet suggestion let me know.
