Today I am going to pick up a 72g bowfront and need to sell on of my tanks to make room for the new addition and was wondering which of these three tanks I should sell: 46g bowfront, 40g breeder, or my 55? Seeing the opinions of others, I am primarily stuck between the 40 and the 46.

I'd get rid of the 46 bowfront.

The 55 is great for a GT, some pictus or clown loaches, and some giant danios (one of my favorite tank setups ever).

But really, why are you getting rid of it? You're only going to sell one of those for $50-75 (you can get a brand new 55 gallon for $55 at petco). Just clean it and stick it in the closet, attic, etc... if anything happens and you spring a leak (God forbid, but it does happen), you are good to go.

I seriously would not put a GT, pictus or CL in a 55.
