Which Tire Goes Farthest

This show is just sort of the modern Japanese humor. I suspect this was staged as a challenge for engineering students to calculate how far the tires would fly.
We had to build little rockets and put them in a wind tunnel and calculate how high we could shoot them.
We made little bridges and smashed them.
We built big steel culverts and crushed them.
We dropped pendulums and smashed them into things in order to test them.
But I don’t think we ever did anything quite as fun as this. The closest thing was, when I was a professional engineer, we got to set up and test big glass windows, where we pump the air pressure behind them until they blew up.
It’s a lot of fun to get paid to break things on purpose.
