Convicts all the way, Great parents and when they spawn they have ALOT of babies lol, Takes about a month for them to grow to "Feeder" size depending on how big of fish you want to feed them to.

ya convicts are good, but i like mollies better, they have and easier shape for the fish to swallow, not high backed like a convict. but ya if your gonna breed them yourself then convicts. you can breed them in a 20 long. and the fry are big enough to eat brine shrimp, and daphnia.

You can breed them in a 5g lol, 10g is recommended tho.
