I just got rid of my pacu so i could get live plants. i want to get plants that grow fast and provide lots of cover. does anyone have any reccomendations?

Anacharis, Hygrophila polysperma, Vallisnera americana (after established), Red Myrio, Wisteria, and Shinnersia rivularis.

i second wisteria....especially if your new to plants because they tolerate so many light conditions, are quick growers, and root extremly easy by cutting. i have it in my community ten gal (no ferts or co2) and have to give it a hair cut at least once every week and a half.

Many of your floating plants are fast growers (duckweed, salvinia, frog bit, water lettuce, water hyacinth). Water sprite can be grown planted or floating and is one of the fastest growers. Najas (guppy grass) is another fast grower. Many of your slower growing plants will grow much faster with the addition of CO2 to your setup.

Hornwort would be a very fast growing plant.
