Which UV Sterilizer?

Tank Size: 150g
Sterilizer will be In-Line to be used on an Rena XP3

Just trying to get the best bang for the buck on this as it's not really a "must have" but it's nice to have. My water color isn't the issue as it's already clear.

9W Turbo Twist for for $100
13W Terminator for $88
18W Turbo Twist for $170

There's a 9W Turbo Twist on MFK marketplace for $65 + Shipping that I've been eyeing, but not sure if 9W is enough.

I have a 9W AquaMedic which is the same basic design as the turbotwist. This is on my 120g, and it works fine to maintain the clarity of the tank and prevent algae blooms. The 150g is kind of in between when it come to size of UV needed a 9w would probably work but I would lean toward the larger 13 watt one, esp. at that price. The 18watt would be nice but I dont think you really need it for your tank size. I just got one of the 18watt turbotwist but its going on my new 210g set up.

Yeah, that's the problem. My tank size is kind of in the "in-between" for what I'm finding.

if u want to kill parasites,
for the 18w, you need a flow of 110gph or less
for the 36w, 290 gph or less
and for the 9w, 55gph or less

xp3 is rated for 350gph. not sure what the actual flow is when filled with media
