which varient of carpintis do i have

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What did you buy it as? No one can tell where the fish came from in the wild by looking at it. If they say they can they're lying. Unless you bought it from a reputable source with a valid and logical collection locale on it you're never going to know.

thanks mm an honest and to the point answer ,i bought it as a carpintis outher than that it is an unknown,i allways thought you could tell somewhat from the pattern on the face and gill plait but i shall find him something pretty any how

could be from a red texas breeding that stayed green or a lfs carpinte.. Very nice fish.

My vontehillos have that same red tip to their dorsal fins and my Escondido does not at all. Just a personal observation I have no idea if that holds true but I did notice that about them I have a 6" Escondido from Rapps the vonts are from Don conkel hope it helps

Very nice texas.
