So I've once again depleted my 80 pound storage of morton white crystal solar salt. Had to get some more today due to some tail crunching from one of my males and it turns out all the damn stores stopped selling it for some reason. The only thing im left with is the morton system saver II formula pellets. Im not really wanting to try this since this thing says its got a ton of additives to do it's job better. Anyone else in canada know of or use other alternative salts like sifto or something?

I think it's walmart that sells windsor salt for water softeners which is in a pellet form. I think it's a blue and white bag and says 98% pure salt. Been using this for 3 years and was recommened to me by another member which used it long before me
I think I've seen this one at rona too. But if i remember correctly, windsor's parent company is morton right? Is your windsor salt the one called system saver II? I took a look at it and it basically says the same thing as the morton label. Both say they have resin cleaning additives in there.skynoch;4195675; said:
