which way to go?

planning a 300g+ acrylic tank. thinking about building it myself or buying a new tenecor tank. I've never built anything before so I am worried building might be a struggle for me but also it would make me very happy to save money by doing it myself. Thoughts or opinions would be appreciated

Do it yourself. Not only will you save money, but you can puff your chest out and say "I built that!"

The hardest part of any DIY project is forcing myself to get over the fear and start the work.

DIYing an acrylic tank isn't really that difficult. There are things to learn and know, tips from people who've done it before, advice, guides, and generally a ton of helpful people on this site.

I would DIY.. I was not a huge fan cause i was scared but have quickly realized that I have the mindset and the ability to do it. It makes you feel good about yourself.
