Which would be better...

Just got my 55gal filled, set up, and started cycling.

Still can't make up my mind, but am still doign research on GT and JD.
(Remember that these fish will most likely live in the 55g for life)

I have read numerous times online of people saying 55g is too small for a GT. So although i think GT's are a little more nicer looking are they too big?

In the end which would be better for a 55gal a JD or a GT.

oscars in a 55? too big. i think a Gt would work. JDs get big also. i had one that was about 8-9''

Eeeek! lol this is what always happens. The GT lovers and the JD lovers start dropping bombs in my thread.

ive seen jack dempseys get bent backs from being housed in a 55 gal for their lives. in my opinion, they get too big. a green terror should be good for life, or you could always find something else your interested in.

The fish i like are JD, GT , Oscars (too big), Arowana's (too big) RTC(too big).
