So i have a 55 for the time being but i also have a 150 for later on. I have a firemouth, a bichir, and a dempsey. I wanted to get something different so i was thinking about going african. I wanted to put either a frontosa or a buttikoferi. I have a few friends that have larger africans with sa cichlids and so on. Which would be a better choice?
 
the buttikoferi, they gots more of an attitude, and get huge!
 
Thanks for the input. I was thinking about them. Now my friend has a buttis in with a clown knife will that be a problem? I wanna make sure the fish i buy wont destroy the toher fish in my tank thats why i was thinking about the frontosa cuz they are more calm
 
Talapia - another site discribes the attitude of this west african cichlid as "Killer. Eliminates all competition." The same site discribes the attitude of a Frontosa as " amiable, out going, this fish is like a puppy." If I valued the well being of the fish I already own the answer would be obvious to me given those as the only 2 choices.
