Well, what's up with everyone and how was y'all memorial day weekend? Mine? well, took a road trip up north to Fresno to play in a volleyball tourny and also to meet some chicks but besides that, after the tourny me and my two uncles went to Sactown. I went to this LFS and i saw this weird looking piranha. Its called a Whimble Piranha. My question is, is there a piranha by that name or are they just passing it on by that name? I took a picture of it with my phone but its not a very great picture. The lower jaw of the piranha juts out A LOT but is rounded at the tip of the jaw like a little tiny ball. It looks really agressive.. I should've bought it, stupid me but i had no place to put it and it was going to be a very long trip. 8hour drive! down south! well, here's some pics of it and help me i.d it... they are not very great pictures. sorry.. oh, and a few other pics to of Dats and ATFs. One other thing, they sell their fishes HECKA EXPENSIVE! COULD NOT BELIEVE THOSE PRICES ON SOME OF THOSE FISHES. :WHOA: but the so called Whimble Piranha was posted for 19.99... should've gotten it...

anyone? too late huh? maybe tomorrow... i'll check in on this tomorrow... good night peoples...

Wimple piranha or scientific name is catoprion mento. Not true piranha from the pygo or serra families, but still a very interesting fish to keep. They do well in groups and shouldnt grow to much more than 6". Is that an NGT??? How much were they asking for that? I wish I could find one near me.

This is one skinny fish!

I guess it costs the storekeeper too much to feed it.
