Whisper 60

It is making a very annoying noise. Just recently got it. Cleaned it tonight and it's making a annoying sound and the impeller is fine, and the motor sounds fine. Anyone have any ideas? It's normal for a second then annoying then normal lol

I've had the same problem take intake out and pull the part that spins at the bottom apart from the brownish peice sticking out of it then place back in gently that's what I did

I've tried it. I had to unplug it last night because I couldn't sleep lol my dad has same and it's silent. I looked on google for advice and tried everything Bd still noisey so I emailed them

I find whenever you clean a filter it always sounds different from before. I had a whisper filter a few years ago, i remember taking it back after a week and getting my money back. Only hob filters ill touch are marineland.

Yeah I don't use many. I have my 2 ac110 which I love and are pretty quiet, and i have a tetra 75 that is alright, but quiet. Whisper was quiet now loud as crap. Can't even have it plugged in while I'm in my room l

I have one on my 55 and it only makes any noise if the top is situated in a way that the impeller fits funny, I shift it or jostle it and it stops. It almost never does it on the 60 but one of my 40s does it more often and I have to go over and readjust the top.
