Hi MFK,

Purchased driftwood roughly over a month ago from an MFKer, it was previously cured but taken out weeks to dry out before i got it.

It has now been in my tank over a month and it continues to grow white algea which i heard is common and should go away a couple of weeks.

Is it normal to continue to grow the white algea this long?

How do I get rid of it.

Thanks

i have it if you over feed it makes it worse but it does go away took like a month for my first but off wood to be rid of it

Normal. Will go away eventually.

Usually it should disappear, with improved water parameters. Although it will certainly affect the aesthetics of your tank. Try regular water changes, and prevent overfeeding of fish stock
