I am currently cycling a tank with fish in. I noticed a moderate amount of white bubbles on the surface of the tank. Is this at all any indication of the nitrogen cycle being done ?
Ammonia is: 0 ppm

Hello; What surface has the bubbles? the glass or the water surface? If glass this is something I have seen in newly filled tanks and will go away. If on surface of water then can be from lack of agitation. I run bubblers in my tanks or use outflow from power filters to break up a protein film that can form on the surface.
