White calcium lines...

Anyone know how to get the white calcium lines off the glass? I've tried CLR, Kaboom, and even a Scotchbrite pad. The lines are messing up my black background.

I've tried the razor blade and it took a lot of the build up off, but didn't get rid of the white streaks.

Sandpaper. Never thought of it. Will it leave any evidence (I'm guessing I wouldn't get off the hook that easy...)?
