Flowerhorn went to the heater, got scared and franctically swam around before adventuring around the tank once more. Tank was good until I had an ammonia spike and it reacheda round 2PPM or 4 PPM. I did a few water changes and as of today (Checked twice) the parameters remain clear and good. Due to this ammonia spike, his head had gone down, and due to stress in the new tank he barely even has a hump anymore, but is growing. His poop is brown, same poop as all my other flowerhorns but he's the first 3 inch fish i've ever owned this young. he's getting used to me, and I'm able to feed him by hand since he doesn't bite that hard *yet...*
he's been swimming around happily but I've noticed that just now his face had a weird sore on it... Here is a picture.
I've started to take care of the water parameters more now, and it seems to be just fine. When I did the last water change today, I added in some aquarium salt, and methylene blue due to his ich from stress a while ago( Did a small dose just in case) and delchlorinated and added in some seachem stability. I've used up all my tri-fusa on my sick goldfish, and have melafix still around. Does anyone know what this is? Any help on medication, ect I should try get? The virus is very strict where I live and I cannot go out since I'm not old enough for a car.
