one of my cichlid was injured during a fight with another cichlid. He was injured bad with a deep gash on the side. Im doing water changes and putting in salt and this cottony thing is growing out of it. I am wondering what it is and is there a treatment for it

yeah ive been doing that also the womb is not white cottony anymore its like a yellow puff popping out covering the gash. Ive been salting the tank and addinig aloe vera. Also noting 30 percent water change every other day. Im going to try FUNGICIDES and see if that will help.
