White dots on albino pearl

So recently my albino pearl has developed these tiny white dots on her. It almost looks like ich but I know they can't get it. I added a new ray about 2 weeks ago and had a small jump in ammonia up to .5 ppm. Did water changes daily and its now under control. The albino pearl still has the spots though and I'm not really sure what it is any help would be greatly appreciated

Seen other rays with similar spots but never seemed to ID them properly. Seem to be either in response to poor water quality or from protozoans. Seem to respond to salt and water changes.
