i recently purchased a few german gold rams and have noticed 1 of them has a brownish white dot on both sides of his head... 1 side has 1 dot the other has 3 theese rams are particularly transparent but i have never seen anything like this the dots appear to be internal im confused and dont want infections or parasites at the moment i have my uv hooked up just incase

this is probably wrong, but some fish like that can get something called hole in the head disease, i think it comes from poor water quality for an extended period of time and stress. it starts as a sore and penetrates the first layers of skin. i mean it could be a thousand other things. could you put up a picture? sorry if i'm way off base lol, that was the first thing that came to my mind a s a possibility
had a few pics theese guys are so skittish when u first get them.... well all of them turned out to have parasites so yea i gave them all hospital tanks and a nice salt bath we'll see what happens the guy with growths inside his head jeez i dont k now it looks like when grandma puts the fruit inside the jello lol i dont know he seems fine he eats good but ya never know ill keep you guys posted and ill try to get some good shots .... ps never buy german rams from new jersey!!!! im 3 for 3 with garbage
