Hi, I noticed this a few weeks ago, its not getting worse or better, just staying the same. It's definitely not fin rot, just discoloration around the back of the fin. Anyone know whats going on? I was thinking malnutrition or something similar though I have absolutely no idea. Fed Hikari cichlid daily. I've had a bit of an ammonia problem lately so is it possibly caused by that?
Also one fish has a little pointy bit on the middle of his fin, hard to explain but its like a little pointer. It's always been there.. is it normal in some fish?
