I notice there are a small amount of white bubbles/foam at is hanging against the tank glass. What is it? Is it protein residue left over from my fish's food? I feed my fish salmon and there is tons of oil that comes from the fish. The bubbles feel slippery. Is it safe? Everytime I do a WC, i wipe the stuff off with a cloth.

Similar problem I'm having that i believe is also die to protein build up from feeding shrimp. Picked up some pollack today and I don't see any foam.
