white fuzz growing over scrapes on my woscar

hello i got a new oscar fish (about 2.5 inches) put him in the tank with my other oscars and he seems to of gotten chased and scrapped pretty hard all on his side and was laying on bottom, i pulled him out and put him in a 20 gallon i keep running for stuff like this so he could heal up... well after a day hes growing a white fuzz on his scrapes and am not sure what this is or what i should do? i put aquarium salt as i was reading its good for healing but am not sure what to do with this white fuzz patch

any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated thanks

Just turn up the temp to about 82 and do 50% daily water changes and keep adding salt and it should go away, but if it gets really bad you may need to get an antifungal med.
