Hey guys,
My family and i are looking to get a dog for christmas. And we have agreed to get a White GSD. I had a quick question. Is there a such thing as a shothaired and a longhaired when it comes to White GSD? And if anyone knew of a place where we could get a male puppy at a good price not in the thousands? lol. Also are they as loyal as normal GSD's? I would love to have a furry best friend that would follow me around all the time.

Also i would like to hear any stories, tips/advice. Or pictures and videos of these beautiful dogs if any.
 
i think there just a color variation other then that there the same dog. i also dont think there recognized as a dog breed that can enter a show
 
they're just a color morph and not a different breed. For breed characteristics, just research the regular breed.
 
My friend has a 13 year old, female White German Shepherd. She was given to his family by their uncle as a pup. I don't think they know who the breeder is but she's from some place in NY state if that helps.
 
Research a breeder extensively. White german shepards are alot more prone to health issues

ya theyre expensive but sometimes i see them for 250 but far from chicago. I am willing to drive but not across country. Thanks for all your imput. Any other tips or advice would be apritiated. We havent had a pup in the house in awhile. Any tips on training and teething? Pics would brighten up the page also. :D

But we are having a hard time finding one for a price under 1000. It dosent matter if its from a breeder or AKC certified. We just want a dog lol.
