Pretty much I got a longnose butterfly about a month ago, quarantined him for 3 weeks and put him in my display tank. 5 days later he has white spot so i move him back into quarantine and treat with copper. Basic stuff, if only annoying. I catch it early and no fish in my display tank have any symptoms (so far) which is a bonus.
However the bit that worries me now is that whenever he's poo'ing he has all of these white granules attacked to them, being as my QT is bare bottom, they ain't Sand. I don't know whether they're parasites or whatever, but anyone who may have experienced this would be very helpful!
Here's some pictures, excuse the quality.
