Hi. I have a 55g with some clown loaches and a baby FH. This morning I saw some little white hairs floating around in the water. There is nothing attached to any of the fish, and I have not added anything to the tank lately. The only thing I have been doing different is I;'ve been feeding more frozen brine shrimp cubes (one every other day). I dont think its anchor worms (from what I read), but I may be wrong. I dont have any pix unfortunately. I plan on doing a water change when I get home tonight. If I have to medicate what would be safe for the clown loaches.

Thanks,

They sound a bit like white bits of bloodworms to me.

If they are tiny and not moving they could even be partially digested bits of brine shrimp exoskeleton.

So then nothing to wrry about I assume?
For white bits alone? There's nothing to worry about them. I removed them when they float to the surface. Guppy also stated another which could be possible if you were feeding brines. To me, they're nothing but harmless non living things unless you see those things moving.

That's what I was going to say.
