Was shooting my Festae tonight and this A-hole rogue male white labridens kept running in and messing up my shots. I figured, what the heck, I'll shoot him for a bit. As it turns out, he is a bit camera shy, but, I got a couple. Please tell me what you think. . .

Thanks for looking,

nice photos what settings are you using and what lighting?

Thanks guys. He is the only one, he was spawning with a GT female, so, I took him out of that situation and he has grown on me. He is a miserable cuss!

I'll give you the settings, but, it may not work for ya. . . f11, shutter 1/100

This guy has to be THE toughest fish I have ever kept. He recently shared a tank with a 13" Venezuelan pike and ruled him! He is also the only fish to manage to live with my foot long Lenticulata pikes, he truly is badass!

What size is he? His shape reminds me a lot of a Bartoni male but with the color pattern a labridens. To bad there are not more of these white labridens (or the world for that matter) in the hobby. Bartoni's are by far the meanest fish I think I have ever kept.

He is about 6", he is "thinner" than he was (mostly the nuchal hump), he was relegated to the sump for a couple weeks, a time-out if you will :D
