Hi,
Lately, dont know whats going on in this tank. of mine 95g. :(
First my green terror got hex problem.
Now a green severum having a layer of white cottony fungus..
which gets removed but a trail sort of thing forms.
like a thread.
Also i feel the tails of other severums torn out.:irked:
So,
First thing i did is to clean the whole tank ,cleaned the gravel thoroughly
And then added 350gms of salt solutions.things are up and running.
I set up this tank in june and after that there was no big stage cleaning been done except removing water and refilling it.
I am using a bucket filter for filtering the tank.its a 20liter bucket.
flow is ok.
sometimes face problems like the top check valve suck airs so had to suck it.apart from that no other filter i am using.
as for water parameters its ok
as i remove 40% water every 15 days.
regarding bio load
1 Carpintis 7"
4 red severum 2"
1 green severum 1.5"(the one who is ill)
3 malawi peacock 2"
1 malawi dolphin 2"
what is that cottony thing on my severum.

Do you have photos of the affected area? I need to see it first to determine whether it is indeed saprolegnia or aeromonas/pseudomonas infection.
