Seen in my lfs today, white parrot fish with normal mouths. Really considering buying one. Any info on them. I also want a female. Any reliable way to sex them?

I know I should have taken some! Sorry. But if it makes anyone feel better I think I've convinced myself to go back tomorrow and pic one up. I'm just a little nervous cause I know parrots are really aggressive but aren't normally equipped to back it up. These guys w normal mouths could be dangerous tho. And I don't want to end up w another fish I can't keep. I guess for $8 I might as well give it a shot.

Only way to sex them is by venting. I've seen creamsicle parrots so I'm guessing they're were crossed with a midas.

Well I doubt I will be able to vent them in the store lol so I guess it will be luck of the draw. These aren't cremesicle. There is no orange present. More like a pink con in coloration. Which is interesting cause I just read online that what some are passing off as white parrots with normal mouths are actually balloon body pink cons. Go figure.

Oh I didn't mean the one you saw was a creamsicle, I just meant since I saw a creamsicle parrot I'm guessing they're using midas' to get that color and probably how they're making white parrots.

I've also heard of shops selling short body pink cons as jelly bean parrots. They still look like convicts though so they're easy to tell apart.
