white particles in the water

hi,
my tank has this small particles in the water all the time.it stays fine for a day after a water change and then the particles return.

i make weekly 20 -25% water changes.

turn over rate of the tank is 3x

tank is properly cycled and has been running for months.

i just cant get that crystal clear water as most of the people on mfk have.

what should i do?

the tank is not heavily stocked as well

honestly sounds like somehow you are causing a mini cycle every time you are changing the water and causing bacteria blooms each time. do you have a lot of chlorine in your tap water? how are you doing the water changes?

There is a lot more to filtering an aquarium than just judging turnover rates... but 3x turnover is not very much water movement at all...

What size tank is it? What size/type filters do you use? How heavily is it decorated (decor breaks up water movement)?

I would suspect you have a poor filtration issue before I believed your causing a mini cycle with every water change...

only reason i thought that is my x had a bad habit of doing her water change and then later remembering to add her water conditioner and every week her water would have the same white smoke as described. finally i started premixing her water just so she would remember and it all went away.
