White patches on elephantnose

My Elephantnose has white patches all over the sides of him, its not ich, my lfs thought it may be velvet, but i have ruled that out and now i have no idea. i have been treating with ich attack cause its herbal and wont hurt him. ive tried raising the temp its at 83 and treated with salt and nothing. so now im at a loss. if any one can help me it would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds definetly like fungus.

Is it kind of fluffy looking when you look at it more closely?

Treat it with EM Tablets, they work wonders, it's 1 tablet per every 10 gallons of water, they work for almost any kind of non-parasitic disease found on the surface of fish.

Post pics too though, it's be the best bet.

Nice work on raising water temp too.
