Hi, i just recently noticed these white pimple like dots on him my iridescent shark has em too. It's not ich since it's like only 3 on him. I have never seen this before. Any1 can give me any idea on what this is? I only have the picture of the iridescent, since my gld clown is hiding. Please help I really don't want to lose these guys. Thank you.

TRy turning the heat up...are those the only fish you have in the tank??Lol, I stock a 10 inch fire eel, 6 inch tire track eel, baby indo dat(about 2 inch),2 baby iridescent sharks and one 8-10 inch gold clown. I keep them in a 90 gallon tank. If it is ich..which would be the better treatment..the heat and salt trick or the medications..
unless you trust the extra sensitive stuff they have out now... its labeled for senstitive fish...
I won't risk that...How long does it usually take for the fish to get better by using the heat and aslt treatment?
The thing is your targeting the eggs that are on the body... They re the harder to get off... once the parasite is out the egg they die easy... So a few days... The way ick treatment works is that you keep treating for a few days even a week. Because as the eggs hatch the medicine kills the parasite preventing anymore eggs from hatching... After treatment... Next question is why they got ick... Run your tests boy boy
