white poo with blood

Saw my motoro's poo floating around, it's thin white stringy poo, with blood around. It's has been quite sometime I saw this. Normally just the white stringy poo, but today just saw blood with the stringy poo. Ray eating very well and growing.
Is there parasites inside the rays intestine?

metronidazale is medication for heximita. heximita is a parasitic disease. a symptom of it is usually blooddy stool. i dont know if rays can even get heximita, but if its really blood and just not some red poo. then metro would be recommended. and it wont harm the bacteria colony... not sure if it will harm the ray though.

I'd treat prazipro.... inject it into some worms and treat the water....

Prazi-pro is for internal parasites also. It is safe for rays; we have used it many times. It contains praziquantel. Look it up on wikipedia if you'd like more info.

White, stringy poop is a common indication of an intestinal worm infestation and Prazi-pro is effective for treating this. The blood could be another problem, however. I have not dealt with this personally.

no very obvious is blood from the poo i see. just a thought, do rays have menstruation
