ok, long story short

8 wilds in a 450gal, with some big fish

1 of them began not eating, and in a tank this large, i couldnt really identify its poop too well --- over the past 2 days, one of the larger discus also became more timid (darker) and i finally saw some white poop

i almost positive it wasn't a worm, but just a long white segmented poop

my plan is to pick up some prazi and metro and see what happens....

good idea?

ill be putting them into a bucket (yes a bucket) or a smaller tank if i find one

and bumping the temp into the 90's and aerating a lot

also, given the fish were "clean" before i got them, where did the internal parasites come from? my larger fish? water conditions? etc? (by "clean" i mean in other tanks for 5-6 months with no issue and had been treated before)

thanks guys....

im super green when it comes to fish meds - have never had to use them before so thanks for any advice

I gues this is something we name "flagelat" in Norway, dont know the name in english if it isnt the same. Comes from stress. Can be healed with high heat and soem medicines i dont know the name off, unfortunatley. I have read ALOT about discus since i want myself, have had some man made varities, but gave them all upp becouse of the gill worm problems.
