No, Ribbon plants like the white or yellows sold in aquarium chain stores are not true aquatic plants, these ribbon plants are actually common house hold plants. When put in any aquarium they die off, and stink up the water something horrible; Plus when they die off in aquariums they are known to kill off other plants and fish.
