white saum help (mouth problem)??

hii ive had my saum for atleast 5 months now with my barramundi but im startin to notice the top lip is startin to come out more than the bottom and always has it open
and he is also tryin to lip grip my barramundi i don t know if thats caus of his lip or tritory heres some pics i cant seem to get a %100 clear shot hope somone on here knows whats goin on
also it hasnt stoped him from eating

Could be due to injuries from lip locking or bumping against sharp objects and has healed completely. If this is the case you will notice the lower lip will be a little red before healing. The other thing it could be is genetics. Hopefully it is not any kind of mouth infection.

Mostly likely not. What other fish do you have with him? Do you have any sharp large rocks in the tank? How often does he lip lock?
 
in the tank i have a barramundi,salmon cat ,turtle theres only 1 rock but its not really sharp 1 long pice of driftwwod but thats round the saum trys to grap the barras lip but the barramundi gets confused and chases it
