white skin around the eyes???

I was wondering if anyone had any explanation for a rays eyes...., well actually the skin that surrounds their eyes to turn a slight white color???? I was told that this could be from ph swings or bad water quality.....???, but Im basically positive that my water is great and my ph has been steady for a while now.... I dont think it could be a fungus because it doesnt stick out at all and my other ray doesnt seem to have this problem. My little female motoro is doing well and eating everything....., but like I said she gets this white stuff from time to time....

Anyone have a clue or had this happen before???? thanks in advance for any input.....

camera is broke need to wait a few days before I can have pics..... not sure if if a pic will show much....., its not that apparent just noticable when looking really close......., I thought someone might just know something off hand...., or delt with something like this before.

Like I said the ray is fine....., very active and hungry....
