I noticed today that my RTC has white slime on the top of his head, its no where else just on his head, and its not on any of the other fish. Does anyone know what this is?

it also kinda looks like his skin is peeling on his head, he has been growing very fast the last 2 weeks
mine got white slim too but after a few hrs or a day it disappear :O Its growing at an alarm rate, its about to hit 5" :O (Im shocked). And his main diet is all tetra bits pellets x.x;;; I wonder how much can a foot long catfish consume on pellets? 1 can per day? 
ok another question my RTC has a huge appetite and i keep him well feed, today i was moving some rocks around and he swam over to be petted as usual and i noticed that the top of his head was very rough and the rest of his body is smooth. Is this the peeling also???? and he is beginning to get a lot more spots on his head, is that normal?
