white sores on carpintis mouth

I added a carpintis cichlid to my tank about a mont ago and ive never really saw it eat and the past week or so it has developed white wart like sores in and on mouth and lips.. he seems peaceful in the tank but is very skinny any thoughts on what happened to him or how to treat it

Better pics would help....also, what else is in the tank with it. Could be from lip locking/sparring with tankmates figuring out the pecking order.

Could also be the start of what is called 'ducklips' Flexibactor columnaris.
