white spot in left eye

hi all,

i just got a polypterus endlecherri this weekend, when i bought it there was no white spot in its left eye, when i brought it home there was s white spot inside the nictitating membrane. sometimes it vanishes(i think) but generally its thers. when i asked the pet store yesterday she said its a normal occurence and the cause for it might be dirty water, but i just cleaned the aquarium the day i bought the fish. any ideas how to remove it or what it is?

it might be a bacteria infection. but if it changes depending on the view angle its probably nothing.
if it swells its a bacterial infection
