so my juvi gt tank (another LESSON LEARNED) the temp dropped, so I see they had white spot
got treatment started today
but
question is: I been feeding all my fish out same net bw and bs at night
will it affect my other fish?
as soon as I noticed it I gave them flake, and haven't shared the net in their tank though I fed my others as usual

just anyone who has experience or knows tips on this

there's about 15 8month 4cm gt juvis, 1 bn pleco and 2 assassin snails in the tank that's got white spot

thanks everyone

I'd just watch carefully, HOPEFULLY you've gotten lucky and nothing has passed over; or even if it has, it sometimes won't take root in strong healthy fish, at least in my experience.

Was going to suggest bumping temperature up, but by that point any potential eggs would have hatched etc possibly.

luckily it's not in any other tanks
but keeping eye on it
yes temp in tank dropped and had mind on other fish stuff
a rookie mistake!

Ah we all make them, I got ick recently by taking a rubbernose pleco in without quarantine; another lesson learned the hard way. It'll come good in the end :)

ive never purchased medication to treat ich and have never lost a fish to ich. I bring the temp up to around 85 and if forgot the correct dosage of uniodized salt. Its a common method, someone else on here definitely knows the correct dosage of salt.

Ich has a hard time taking hold on healthy fish, I wouldn't be too worried about the bigger fish but salt can help. Aquarium salt and heat are my treatment. I keep SA cichlids almost exclusively so they don't mind too much when I bump the temp up to 90, or higher.
