White spot on clown loach

One of my clown loaches has a small white spot above its head. Is this ich? How can I treat it in a 250 gallon pond where its impossible to catch them.

hi mate. Unless there are more than one I doubt it's ich. keep an eye on any other potential spots and keep an eye on its feeding. I keep 7 clown loaches and have done so a while. good luck

Clowns are very susceptible to ich, if its just one spot very much it is. But to be safe you could always add some salt and raise the temp to around 82. Always cleared it up on my loaches.

I've found that a lot of the random white spots my clowns get turn out to be abrasions or scratches from their constant digging and just going places that they can't really fit.
