White Spot on Eye (1 Lost Eye)

Ok recently my cigar barb developed a white "coating" on his left eye. I tried bacterial medicine and waterchanges yet he still ended up losing the eye. It appeared as if it "ate" away at his eye. Well he is doing well now, but I have a problem.

Just tonight I noticed my black aro is developing a white spot on his eye. I have no clue what the heck it is. I don't know how I should treat it. I do not want my aro to lose his eye too. Soon I will post pictures when I get my camera back, possibly tomorrow.

For now I can say that it is almost like a clear/white film that is small currently. It also started small on my barb before it covered the whole eye. Any ideas and help?

What else is in the tank? I would guess something is pecking at eyes. Could be cloudy eye, but I'm interested to hear what the stock is though...

Giant Gourami, 2 CKs and a bichir. I moved the barb to an isolated tank and changed 50% of the water in the main. The aro's eye is clear now and the barbs eye is looking slightly better.
