White spot on fin

I have a Frontosa who developed a white spot on it's tail. It's only a few millimeters in diameter. It also sticks out a few millimeters too.
Anybody think they might know what it is. I want to stop it before it grows into a major infection. Thanks.

It's not ick it's too big for ick. It's about the size of a small zit.
