White spot on my gar

I had purchased this spotted gar from blue grass aqautics when I received it had this spot on it tried to contact them about it not much help so I went ahead and figured it was fungus and tried to cure well nothin really worked my albino oscar was messing with him and bit it off then it was hardly even there then it grew back been looking forward to add it to my 210 gal with my aro but now I'm almost thinking of trying to sell it if I can't figure out what this is
