White spot on ropefish?

I've recently noticed a white spot on my ropefish right behind the gill and its fin, does anyone know if this is something I should be worried about or is it just a happening? TIA

I'll take one when I get home today, it's not showing any behavioral changes, but I want to make sure it won't harm it or the other inhabitants.

We took it back to the store because it's eyes got cloudy and it's skin got spots on it.
